Philodendro Scandens is a climbing evergreen indoor plant native of the tropical rainforests of South America and the Caribbean. It is very decorative, with slender stems, aerial roots and large, heart-shaped, dark green leaves. It can be used as a drooping plant or climbed on supports.
According to a list compiled by NASA, this plant can improve the quality of the air we breathe and limit domestic pollution. It filters out many pollutants, including formaldehyde, which is present in carpets and furniture, and in household cleaning products, and is effective against electromagnetic waves.
